HOUSE OF THE MASTER FALCONER
CORDES SUR CIEL (TARN)
Tél : 05 63 56 00 40

Cordes is a mediaeval city founded on a mountain peak in 1222 by Count de Toulouse.

One of the most beautiful buildings, this of the Master Falconer, today houses the donation made by the painter to the Local Council back in 1960.

There is a display of large canvas paintings, still life paintings ("La nature morte au bucrane" : "The Skull Still Life", 1960) and landscapes, several of which represent Cordes, a large decorative panel "Le Tournoi à Cordes", The Tournament in Cordes, an Aubusson tapestry "Le Torero au Paysage", Torero and Landscape, together with rare lithography.

Various documents in the window refer the visitor to the various steps of the painter's route, filled with dense, varied and versatile works.
